Es ist wie NACH HAUSE KOMMEN. Cartagena hat mich bereits im Dezember in seinen Bann gezogen. Frühstück im selben Lokal mit frischen Früchten, Eierspeise, Toast, Butter, Marmelade und Tee.
It's like COMING HOME. Cartagena has drawn me back in December in its spell. Breakfast in the same place with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, butter, jam and tea.
Es como VOLVER A CASA. Cartagena me ha atraído de nuevo en diciembre en su hechizo. Desayuno en el mismo lugar con fruta fresca, huevos revueltos, tostadas, mantequilla, mermelada y té.

Nach der ersten Nacht im Schimmelzimmer habe ich in der ersten Stock gewechselt. Hier habe ich ein helles freundliches Zimmer mit Balkon.
After the first night in the mold room I switched on the first floor. Here I have a bright friendly room with balcony.
Después de la primera noche en la sala de molde me cambié en el primer piso. Aquí tengo una habitación amplia de amistad con balcón.

Vom Balkon kann ich auf mein ehemaliges Hotel blicken, das gleich gegenüber ist. Da könnt ich fast sentimental werden. Fritz die SCHNARCHSOCKE fehlt mir doch ein bisschen. (@Fritz: Schöne Grüsse nach Equador).
From the balcony I can look back on my old hotel, which is just opposite. Since I can be almost sentimental. Fritz the SNORING SOCKS I lack a bit. (@ Fritz: Best regards to Ecuador).
Desde el balcón puedo mirar hacia atrás en mi antiguo hotel, que está justo enfrente. Ya que puede ser casi sentimental. Fritz los CALCETINES RONQUIDO me falta un poco. (Fritz @: Un saludo a uador).

Was aber macht jetzt das Besondere an Cartagena aus? Sind es die Ketten der verschlossenen Türen?

Ist es, dass hier schäbig neben renoviert leben kann?

Sind es die liebevoll gestalteten Erker?
Is it the beautifully designed bay window?
Es el mirador de bonito diseño?

Ist es die Blumenpracht, des weltweit zweitwichtigsten Exportlandes für Pflanzen aller Art?
Is it the flowers, the world's second most important export country for all kinds of plants?
Es que las flores, el mundo en el segundo país más importante de exportación para todo tipo de plantas?



Sind es die Touristen, die scharenweise durch die Gassen schlendern?
Is it the tourists who stroll through the streets in droves?
Es que los turistas que pasean por las calles en masa?

Was ist es, was diese Stadt ausmacht? Am besten ist es die Koffer zu packen und diese Stadt selber einmal zu erkunden. Ich werde die nächsten Tage noch ein paar weitere Bilder liefern, die den Reiz dieser Stadt zeige.

What is it that makes this city? It is best to pack your bags and explore the city itself once. I will deliver the next day a few more pictures that show the charm of this city.

Vor einer Woche bin ich wieder zurückgeflogen - in die schönste Stadt Südamerikas - CARTAGENA.
A week ago I flew back again - in the most beautiful city in South America - CARTAGENA.
Hace una semana, volé de regreso - en la ciudad más hermosa de América del Sur - CARTAGENA.

Am Flughafen in Lima ist jede Menge los.
At the airport in Lima a lot going on.
En el aeropuerto de Lima muchas cosas.
 

Mein Abflug geht um 12:40 Uhr. Ich musste jedoch schon 3 Stunden vorher da sein, was sich dann knapp ausgegangen ist.
My flight leaves at 12:40 clock. But I had already 3 hours earlier to be there, what is to be considered just.
Mi vuelo sale a las 12:40 reloj. Pero yo tenía ya tres horas antes para estar allí, lo que se considera justo.



Nach dreieinhalb Stunden sind wir in Cartagena. 40 Grad Celsius und 100% Luftfeuchtigkeit hat es in der karibischen Stadt.
After three and a half hours we are in Cartagena. 40 degrees Celsius and 100% humidity it has in the Caribbean city.
Después de tres horas y media estamos en Cartagena. 40 grados centígrados y 100% de humedad que tiene en la ciudad caribeña.

Mein altes Hotel hat heute keinen Platz frei. So checke ich gegenüber im Hotel Villa Colonial, im letzten freien Zimmer ein.
My old hotel has no room for free today. So I validation against the Hotel Villa Colonial, one in the last free room.

Ich werde von Schimmel an den Wänden begrüsst. Die eine Nacht werde ich das überleben.
I'm greeted by mold on the walls. The one night I will survive it.

Durch die Gassen von Gesemani geht es ins Stadtzentrum.
Through the streets of Gesemani it comes to the city center.

In der Stadt findet gerade ein Musikfestival mit klassischen Konzerten statt.

Im Gegensatz zu Europa sind hier die Kirchen noch gut besucht.
Unlike Europe, the churches here are still well attended.

Ich freue mich, das ich so kurzfristig einen günstigen Flug bekommen habe und diese Stadt noch einmal geniessen kann.
I am happy that I got a flight at such short notice and can enjoy the city again.
