Bevor es heute zum "Arbol de Piedra", dem "Baum aus Stein" auf 4.575 Metern Seehöhe geht, haben wir eine Hardcoreetappe vor uns.
Today we have a hardcore stage ahead of us, before we can see the "Arbol de Piedra", the "tree of stone" at 4575 meters above sea level.
Hoy tenemos una etapa de duro delante de nosotros, antes de que podamos ver el "Arbol de Piedra", el "árbol de piedra", en 4575 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

Wir fahren in das nächste Dorf, wo wir zum Glück etwas Bezin kaufen können.Viel bekommen wir nicht, aber es reicht dass mein Tank voll wird und Peter seiner aufgefüllt wird.
We go to the next village, where we can buy fortunately some gasoline. We do not get much, but it's enough that my tank and Peter's is filled.

Auch Peter ist heute zum ersten Mal mit seiner BMW gestürzt. Bevor ich meine Kamera in Position hatte, hat er sein Motorrad auch schon selber aufgestemmt.

Leo ist so begeistert von den Flamingos, dass er seine BMW gleich wieder nieder legt. Ich hab das Gefühl, der will heute einen neuen Rekord aufstellen.

Leo is so excited about the flamingos that he lays down his BMW again. I have the feeling that today he will set a new record.

Leo fährt sein Motorrad gleich direkt vor den "Arbol de Piedra", bevor er von einem aufgeregten Wärter verscheucht wird. Es ist strengstens verboten in die Absperrung zu fahren.

Anschliessend fahren wir noch ein paar Kilometer, bis zur Laguna Colorada, die auf 4.278 Metern Seehöhe liegt. Das Wasser des Salzsees ist hier von den Algen rot gefärbt. Der See ist für seine großen Bestände von Flamingos der drei Arten Chileflamingo,  Gelbfuß- oder Andenflamingo und James- oder Kurzschnabelflamingo bekannt.
We then drive a few miles to the Laguna Colorada, located at 4278 meters above sea level. The water of the salt lake is stained from the red algae. The lake is known for its large populations of three species of flamingos Chilean Flamingo, Flamingo and Andean Gelbfuß or James or-footed flamingo.

Heute passiert genau dass, was sich kein Motorradfahrer wünscht.
Today something is happen what no motorcycle rider want to get.
Algo que hoy está sucediendo lo que ningún motociclista quiere conseguir.

Bevor ich darüber berichte gibt es noch etwas anderes abzuklären. Wer ist jetzt eigentlich Claudia?
Before I write about it, there's something else to clarify. Now who's actually Claudia?
Antes de escribir sobre ello, hay algo más para aclarar. Ahora, quién es realmente Claudia?

Eigentlich sind es ja 2 Claudias. Links, das ist die Claudia aus Bolivien, rechts das ist die Claudia aus Portugal, die in Brasilien als Stylistin arbeitet. Die rechte Claudia hat nur mehr 7 Tage bis Lima Airport und kann deshalb nicht mit uns mitfahren. Die Claudia links hat keinen Stress und somit genug Zeit mit 3 Bikern auf Tour zu gehen.
Actually, there are indeed two Claudia. The left one is Claudia from Bolivia, the right one Claudia is from Portugal, who works as a stylist in Brazil. The right Claudia has only 7 days to go to Lima Airport and therefore can not go with us. Claudia left, has no stress and enough time to gon on tour with 3 motorbikers.
En realidad, hay de hecho dos de Claudia. El de la izquierda es Claudia de Bolivia, la derecha Claudia es de Portugal, quien trabaja como estilista en Brasil. La Claudia tiene derecho a sólo 7 días para ir al aeropuerto de Lima y por lo tanto no se puede ir con nosotros. Claudia izquierda, no tiene el estrés y el tiempo suficiente para Gon de gira con tres motociclistas.

Wie es der Zufall so will, haben wir Claudia aus Portugal gestern auf der Isla de Pescadora wieder gesehen. Sie hat eine 3- Tages- Tour gebucht, will danach noch nach La Paz, nach Cusco und zum Machu Picchu und dann nach Lima, wo in 6 Tagen ihr Flieger nach Brasilien zurück geht....
As luck would have been, we saw Claudia from Portugal again. Yesterday on the Isla de Pescadora. She has booked a 3 - day tour to the saltlake, then still wants to La Paz to Cuzco tto Machu Picchu and then to Lima, where back in 6 days .... the plane is waiting for her to fly back to Brazil...
Quiso la suerte que han sido, vimos Claudia de Portugal otra vez. Ayer en la Isla de Pescadora. Se ha reservado un 3 - día de visita al Salar, que todavía quiere a La Paz a Cuzco tto Machu Picchu y luego a Lima, donde de nuevo en 6 días .... el avión está a la espera de su vuelo de regreso a Brasil ...

Bei uns geht es heute in die Steinwüste Boliviens, in Richtung Chile.

We are driving today in the rocky desert of Bolivia, to direction Chile.

Die Nacht war sehr kalt und ich habe mir so ziemlich alles angezogen, was mich ein bisschen mehr gewärmt hat.
The night was very cold and I put on everything what I had to get a little bit more warm.

Wir geniessen noch einmal die Fahrt am Salzsee und dann geht es in die Sand- und Steinwüste.

Nach den Gaumenfreuden gibt es einen glutroten Sonnenuntergang und Rotwein als Nachtisch.

Irgendwann kriechen wir in unsere Schlafsäcke. Es sollte eine kalte Nacht werde, eine sehr kalte...
