Heute mache ich einen Ausflug zu den ISLAS BALLESTAS.
Today I make a trip to ISLAS BALLESTAS.

Die Isla Ballestas ist Teil vom Nationalreservat Paracas, das am 25. September 1975 gegründet wurde und eine Gesamtfläche von 335.000 Hektar hat. Das Reservat soll die reichen Vorkommen an Mähnenrobben, Blaufußtölpeln, Pelikanen,Pinguinen und anderen Meeressäugern und Seevögeln schützen.
Isla Ballestas Paracas National Reserve is part of the 25 Founded in September 1975 and has a total area of 335,000 hectares. The reserve is to protect the rich deposits of sea lions, blue footed boobies, pelicans, penguins and other marine mammals and seabirds.
Isla Ballestas, Reserva Nacional de Paracas es parte de los 25 fundada en septiembre de 1975 y tiene un área total de 335.000 hectáreas. La reserva es proteger a los ricos yacimientos de leones marinos, piqueros de patas azules, pelícanos, pingüinos y otros mamíferos marinos y aves marinas.
Auf einer Halbinsel befindet sich eine große Felszeichnung, der Candelabro de Paracas (Der Kerzenleuchter von Paracas), der den Nazca-Linien ähnelt, aber bedeutend jünger ist. Er diente wahrscheinlich Seefahrern als Orientierungszeichen zur Navigation.
On a peninsula is a large rock drawing of Candelabro de Paracas (Paracas The candelabrum) that is similar tothe Nazca lines, but much younger. He was probably used as a guide sailors sign for navigation.

Nach zirka 20 Minuten erreichen wir die Ballestas Inseln.
