Heute früh ging der Wecker schon um 04:45. Nach knapp 4 Stunden Schlaf, ein Hammer. Nach dem Duschen ging es dann auch schon nach Schwechat, zum Flughafen.
This morning the alarm clock was already at 04:45. After nearly 4 hours of sleep a hammer. After showering, we went even to Schwechat airport.
Esta mañana el despertador ya estaba a las 04:45. Después de casi 4 horas de sueño de un martillo. Después de la ducha, nos fuimos hasta el aeropuerto de Schwechat.
Zu meiner Überraschung wurde ich dann von unserem Verkaufsleiter Gerhard und unserer Büroleiterin in Mistelbach, Fr. Elisabeth Jarmic empfangen.
Und damit ich die nächsten Monate doch noch etwas zum Kuscheln habe, haben sie mir ein Geschenk mitgebracht.
They have brought me a present, that I have something to cuddle for the next few months.

In Frankfurt, nach 15 Kilometer Gatewaysuche dann die Überraschung. Ich kann ohne Rückflugticket nicht nach Alaska einreisen. Ich erkläre der Dame dass ich eine Rundreise mache, mein Motorrad schon in Alaska ist und ich den Rückflug von Brasilien buche, wenn ich dort bin. Nein das geht nicht - ich muss ein Ticket kaufen. Das darf doch nicht war sein!!!
In Frankfurt, after 15 km Gateway search then the surprise. I can not travel without a return ticket to Alaska. I explain to the lady that I make a round trip, my bike is already in Alaska and I book the return flight from Brazil when I am there. Ich gehe den ganzen Weg zurück in die Abflughalle und suche die Ticketschalter und erkläre mein Problem. Ja man könne ein Rückflugticket für September ausstellen, das dann gleich wieder storniert wird. Die Stimme der Dame wird leiser. Für die Stornierung fallen jedoch Euro 150,- an. Ich gehe zu drei anderen Schaltern - dort kostet das Euro 190,-.

Ich greife in die Tasche und habe zufällig leider nur mehr Euro 35,-. Sie will mich zum Bankomaten schicken, ich sage ihr, das ich keine Zeit mehr habe und mir der Flieger davonfliegt. Sie ist nach einigem hin und her dann doch einverstanden und ich hetze zum Gate C17 und komme gerade noch rechtzeitig an, um den Flieger zu erreichen.
I hand in my pocket and I accidentally unfortunately only € 35, -. She wants to send me to the ATM. I tell her that I have no time and my fly will get off without me. She agreed, after some speaking. I run to the gate C17 and just come on in time to reach the plane.

Ich fahre ins Stadtzentrum von Anchorage und suche mir ein Hostel - das Alaska Backpackers Inn.
Das Hostel ist innen künstlerisch gestaltet. Jeder Bewohner kann die Wände und den Boden bemalen. Das ist mein Doppelzimmer.
The hostel is inside artistically. Every resident can paint the walls and the floor. This is my doubles.
