Einer der großen Vorteile einer Reise mit dem Motorrad ist, dass man die Stadt sehr leicht erkunden kann.
One of the big benefits of a motorbike tour is, that you can explore the city very easely.

Ich schmeisse mich aufs Motorrad und fahre zum Mount Moiwa. Auf diesen Berg kann man mit einer Gondel fahren und hat einen traumhaften Blick über die Stadt. Heute ist es jedoch so stark bewölkt, dass ich darauf verzichte.
I take my motorbike and drive to Mount Mowia. There is a cablecar up the the top, where you have a great view around Sapporo. It is so clody today that I step back from this idea.

Am Fuße des Mount Moiwa sind die Leute mit Geld zu Hause.
The people with money have their homes here.

Diese Riesen Krebs hängt an der Hausfassade von einem Restaurant und wartet darauf seine Gäste aufzufressen.
I see this gigantic crab, hanging over the entrance of a restaurant - waiting to eat their guests.

Ich beginne hungrig zu werden und gehe zum Nijo Fischmarkt, der sich am Ende Einkaufsstraße Tanuki Koji befindet. Auf dem Platz davor befindet sich dieses interessante Kunstwerk.
I start getting hungry and decide to go to the Nijo Fish Market, at the end of the shopping street Tanuki Koji. On the place in front of the fish market, I see this interesting piece of art.

Frittierte kleine Babykrebse werden als Snack verkauft.

Small, fried baby crab are sold for snack.

Die angebotenen Krebse leben alle noch. Sie werdn nur mit Gummibändern zusammengebunden.

The offered crab are all alive. They just fixed their legs with rubber bands that they can not move.

So ein Riesen Krebs kostet schon ein paar hundert Dollar in einem der umliegenden Restaurants.
You have to pay a couple of hundreds of dollar for a big crab like this in one of the restaurants around.

Es ist Zeit für Mittagessen. Ich wähle ein Restaurant im inneren des Fischmarktes. Ich wähle einen Mix aus verschiedenen Fischsorten inclusive einer Krebs Kostprobe. Es schmeckt ausgezeichnet.
It is time for lunch. I choose a restaurant inside the fish market. I choose a mixture of different sorts of fish, including crab. It tastes delicious. 

Gleich in der Nähe vom Fischmarkt ist der Sapporo Fernsehturm, bei dem einige Stände Essen, Getränke und Souveniers anbieten. Dahinter liegt der Odori Park in dem gerate eine japanische Tanzgruppe ihre Übungen abhält.
Close by is the Sapporo TV Tower. There they offer food, drinks and souvenirs outside. Behind is the Odori Park were a Japanese dancing group is doing their training session.

Zurück im Hotel schreibe ich an meinem neuen Blog. Als es finster wird stürze ich mich ins Nachtleben von Sapporo.

Back at the hotel I write on my next blog. Later on, when it got dark, I am ready for the nightlife of Sapporo.

Die Jugend ist nach wie vor begeistert, einen Kimono zu tragen.

The young people are still excited to wear kimono.

Viele Japaner leben noch immer bei ihren Eltern und nutzen sogenannte Love- Hotels für Stundenweise Zweisamkeit.

A lot of Japanese still live with their parents and use "love-hotels" to meet their love for a couple of hours.

Ich gehe in ein Yakiniku Restaurant, Hier wird Fleisch auf einem Grill von dir selber zubereitet. Von einer Speisekarte kann man entweder ein Set mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten aussuchen oder man bestellt exakt das Fleisch, das man möchte und kann so lange nachbestellen, bis man satt ist. Dieses Restaurant bietet auch eine Variante "All you can eat" an, die mir aber zu viel ist.
I go to a Yakiniku restaurant. Here you grill meat by yourself on your table. From the menu, you can choose different sets of meat or exactly the meat you want. This restaurant also offers a "all you can eat" iption, who is a little bit too much for me.
