FEUER, TANZ UND STOSSDÄMPFER / FIRE, DANCING AND SHOCKS / FUEGO, BAILE Y DESCARGA

San Pedro de Atacama ist die teuerste Stadt Südamerikas. Die Preise sind so hoch, wie in Österreich.
San Pedro de Atacama is the most expensive city in South America. The prices are so high as in Austria.
San Pedro de Atacama es la ciudad más cara en América del Sur. Los precios son tan altos como en Austria.



Wenn man weiss wie, kann man auch hier sehr günstig leben. ich schaue mir heute die Stadt etwas genauer an. Bei der Kirche muss ich an einen Western denken.
If you know how you can live here very cheap. I look more closely at the city today. At the church I have to think a western movie.
Si usted sabe cómo se puede vivir aquí muy barato. Miro más de cerca a la ciudad hoy en día. En la iglesia tengo que pensar en una película del oeste.




Chile ist in mehreren Punkten etwas anders. Die Polizisten heissen hier "Caballeros".
Chile is a bit different in several points. The police are called here "Caballeros".
Chile es un poco diferente en varios aspectos. La policía es llamada aquí "Caballeros".



Am Hauptplatz der kleinen Stadt geht es sehr relaxt zu. Die Stadt lebt von den Touristen, die von hier aus ihre Touren durch die Wüsten Nordchiles oder nach Bolivien unternehmen.
On the main square of the small town it's very relaxed. The city lives from the tourists who make their trips from here through the deserts of northern Chile or Bolivia.
En la plaza principal del pequeño pueblo es muy tranquilo. La ciudad se nutre de los turistas que hacen sus viajes desde aquí a través de los desiertos del norte de Chile o Bolivia.








Ich gehe zurück zum Hostel. Leo ist mit seinem Motorrad fertig, jetzt ist mein Baby an der Reihe.
I go back to the hostel. Leo is ready with his bike, now it is time for my baby.
Regreso al albergue. Leo está listo con su bicicleta, ahora a mi bebé.


Die Stossdämpfer werden ausgebaut, gereinigt und neu befüllt.
The shock absorbers are removed, cleaned and refilled.
Los amortiguadores se extrae, se limpia y volver a llenar.


Es geht nichts über einen guten Schluck Cola im Stossdämpfer!!!
There's nothing like a good mouthful of cola in the shock!
No hay nada como un buen bocado de cola en shock!


Leo ist nicht nur ein ausgezeichneter Koch, sondern auch ein perfekter Mechaniker. Die hinteren Bremsen werden noch entlüftet und dann ist meine KTM fertig für die nächste Etappe.
Leo is not only an excellent cook, but also a perfect mechanic. The rear brakes are vented and even then my KTM is ready for the next stage.
Leo no sólo es un excelente cocinero, sino también un mecánico perfecto. Los frenos traseros son ventilados y aún así mi KTM listo para la siguiente etapa.


Morgen heisst es für mich Abschied nehmen, von San Pedro de Atacama und Peter und Leo. Die beiden fahren wieder rüber nach Argentinien. Meine Reise geht in Richtung Süden, nach Ushuaia. Zum Abschied gönnen wir uns ein gutes Restaurant.
Tomorrow I have to say goodbye - to San Pedro de Atacama, and Peter and Leo. The two guzs are going back to Argentina. My journey continues south to Ushuaia. In parting, we treat ourselves to a good restaurant.
Mañana tengo que decir adiós - a San Pedro de Atacama, y Pedro y Leo. Los dos guzs van a volver a Argentina. Mi viaje continúa hacia el sur de Ushuaia. Al partir, nos tratamos a un buen restaurante.




Ich geniesse einen ausgezeichneten Fisch mit Serrano Schinken auf einem Erbsenbeet. Lecker, lecker...

Dazu gibt es chilenische Musik am Lagerfeuer.
There are Chilean music around the campfire.
Hay música chilena alrededor de la fogata.


Kasia mit einem argentinischen Freund, der weder Essen, noch ein Getränk bestellt. Ihm ist es in dem Restaurant scheinbar zu teuer.
Kasia with an Argentine friend, he order neither food nor a drink. It is apparently too expensive for him in the restaurant.
Kasia con un amigo argentino, que el fin ni el alimento ni bebida. Al parecer es demasiado caro para él en el restaurante.



Unsere "letzte" gemeinsame Nacht. Die zwei Burschen werden mir fehlen.
Our "last" night together. I will miss the two boys.
Nuestro "pasado" la noche juntos. Echaré de menos a los dos amigos.


Anschliessen gehen zu einem Ort am Stadtrand. Hier findet heute eine besondere Veranstaltung statt.
After we go to a place on the outskirts. Here today held a special event.
Después de ir a un lugar en las afueras. Aquí ha mantenido hoy un evento especial.



Vor den Augen von hunderten Einheimischen werden südamerikanische Tänze aufgeführt.

Das spannende an meiner Motorradreise ist, das ich immer wieder etwas Besonderes erleben darf, wie heute diese Tanzaufführung. Oft ergeben sich solche Erlebnisse durch Zufall, sind also nicht geplant. Ich bin schon gespannt, was die nächsten Tage in Chile mit sich bringen....
The exciting thing about my bike trip, I can always experience something special, like today, this dance performance. Often such experiences arise by chance, are not planned. I'm curious, what the next days in Chile will get ....
Lo más importante de mi viaje en bicicleta, siempre puedo experimentar algo especial, como hoy, este espectáculo de danza. A menudo estas experiencias surgen por casualidad, no son planificados. Tengo curiosidad, lo que los próximos días en Chile tendrá ....
