Heute besichtige ich zwei Vollblutweiber. Dazu gibt es einige Insel- Grausamkeiten aber auch viele schoene Fotos.

Today I visit two full-blood women. There are some island-cruelty but also many beautiful photos.

Hoy me visita de dos mujeres de pura sangre. Hay una isla-la crueldad, sino también muchas bellas fotos. 

Am Hafen von Puno suche ich mir ein Boot das mich über den Titicaca See zu den Uros Inseln bringt. Die Destination ist sehr beliebt und es fährt alle paar Minuten ein Boot.

At the port of Puno, I pick a boat that brings me on the Lake Titicaca to the Uros Islands. The destination is very popular and it runs every few minutes a boat.

En el puerto de Puno, tomo un barco que me lleva en el Lago Titicaca a las Islas de los Uros. El destino es muy popular y que sale cada pocos minutos un barco.

Am Weg zu den Uros Inseln sehen wir die ersten Fischer, die gemeinsam auf die Jagd gehen.

On the way to the Uros Islands we see the first fishermen who go out hunting together.

En el camino a la Isla de los Uros que ver a los pescadores primero que van a cazar juntos.

Und dann geht es auch schon in die Schilfgürtel. Das Volk der Uru oder auch Uro ist seit 1958 ausgestorben, trotzdem versuchen ihre Nachfahren zumindest einen Teil der Urukultur zu erhalten. Sie nannten sich früher Kot-Suns, „Seemenschen“, und galten als das wildeste Volk im Inkareich, mit einer sehr dunklen Hautfarbe. Da die Urus sich bei Auseinadersetzungen immer auf ihre Schilfinseln im Titicacasee zurückzogen, konnten sie von den Inkas nie unterworfen werden.

And then it's already in the reeds. The people of Uru or Uro is extinct since 1958, their descendants still trying to get at least a portion of Urukultur. They called themselves earlier Kot Suns, "Seemenschen", and were considered to be the wildest people in the Inca Empire, with a very dark skin color. Since the Urus at confrontations always retreated to their reed islands in Lake Titicaca, they could be subdued by the Incas never.

About 80 islands comprising the area, with approximately one hundred families, even a school island underneath. Control the boat turns to one of the many islands, so that every family will benefit equally from tourism.

Alrededor del 80 islas que conforman el área, con aproximadamente un centenar de familias, incluso por debajo de una isla de la escuela. Control de la embarcación se convierte en una de las muchas islas, de modo que todas las familias se beneficiarán por igual de turismo.

Zuerst einmal gibt es Unterricht. Uns wird erklärt, wie die Schilfinseln gebaut werden. Wenn diese nicht regelmässig, alle 6 Monate ausgebessert werden, kann es schon sein, dass plötzlich eine Insel wieder im Titicaca See verschwindet.

First, there are lessons. We are told how the reed islands are built. If these are not regular, every 6 months to be repaired, it may be that suddenly an island in Lake Titicaca disappears again.

En primer lugar, hay lecciones. Se nos dice cómo las islas de caña se construyen. Si estos no son regulares, cada 6 meses para ser reparado, puede ser que de repente una isla del lago Titicaca desaparece de nuevo.

Uns wird auch erklärt, wie die Schilfboote gebaut werden. Diese Lebensart ist weltweit einzigartig.

We will also explain how the reed boats are built.

Nach dem Vortrag stürzen sich die Touristen auf die Souvenirs. Ich schaue mich auf der Insel etwas um und mache einen grausamen Fund.

After the lecture, the tourists on the souvenir rush. I look at something on the island and make a gruesome discovery.

Als ich mich weiter umschaue versinke ich fast im weichen Schilfboden.
As I continue to look around, I almost sinking in soft ground rushes.

Hier wurde auch ein kleiner Fischteich angelegt. Daneben ein angebunderer Vogel, den ein ähnlich grausames Schicksal erwartet wie seine ausgenommenen Artgenossen.

Nach dem Mittagessen bestaune ich noch die Handwerkskunst der Urus und dann geht es auch schon wieder zurück nach Puno.

After lunch, I still marvel at the craftsmanship of the Urus, and then it goes even back to Puno.

In Puno treffe ich Christine aus Australien wieder. Sie ist im Bus von Aquas Calientes zum Machu Picchu neben mir gesessen. Sie ist mit einer Gruppe in Peru, die Meditationen an speziellen Energieplätzen mit Personen aus verschiedensten Ländern veranstaltet.

In Puno I meet Christine again from Australia. She was sitting on the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu next to me.She is in a organized group around Peru, who make meditations on specific energy places with people from different countries.
