Montag, 28.11.2011: Valparaiso nach Rapa Nui / CHILE
Today goes to the mysterious island of Rapa Nui, and - as you can see - I'm with the locals immediately struck up a friendship.
Hoy va a la misteriosa isla de Rapa Nui, y - como se puede ver - Estoy con la gente de inmediato se hicieron amigos.
Ich muss heute sehr früh aufstehen. Mit einem Shuttleservice für 6.000,- Pesos werde ich zum Flughafen gefahren.
I must get up very early today. With a shuttle service for 6000, - pesos they bring me to the airport.
Tengo que levantarme muy temprano hoy. Con un servicio de transporte para 6000, - pesos que me llevará al aeropuerto.
Mein Flug geht erst in 2 Stunden und so genehmige ich mir einen Kaffee Latte und checke meine Mails und Facebook.
My flight leaves in just 2 hours and I approve myself a latte and check my email and Facebook.
Mi vuelo sale en 2 horas y me aprobar un café con leche y revisar mi correo electrónico y Facebook.
Gegenüber von mir sitzen 2 Russen - Sergej und Sergej. Ehe ich mich versehe ist mein Kaffeebecher mit Whiskey aufgefüllt. Die Dame von Starbucks weisst uns darauf hin, dass der Genuss von Alkohol hier verboten ist. Die zwei haben noch 5 Flaschen in Reserve. Irgendwie haben wir drei es dann doch noch in den Flieger geschafft.
Across from me sit two Russians - Sergei and Sergei. Before I know my coffee cup is filled with whiskey. The lady from Starbucks we know suggests that the consumption of alcohol is banned here. The two still have 5 bottles in reserve. Somehow we threecould catch up the plane.
Frente a mí se encuentran dos rusos - y Sergei Sergei. Antes de que yo sé que mi taza de café está lleno de whisky. La señora de Starbucks que sabemos sugiere que el consumo de alcohol está prohibido aquí. Los dos todavía tienen 5 botellas de reserva. De alguna manera nos threecould coger el avión.
Nach zirka 5 Stunden Flug und 2 Stunden Zeitverschiebung erreichen wir die Isla de Pascua, auch Osterinseln oder Rapa Nui genannt.
After about 5 hours of flight and 2 hour time difference, we reach the Isla de Pascua, Easter Island, also known as Rapa Nui.
Después de aproximadamente 5 horas de vuelo y dos horas de diferencia de tiempo, llegamos a la Isla de Pascua, Isla de Pascua, también conocida como Rapa Nui.
Die Fluggäste werden mit Blumenkränzen und Blüten empfangen.
Der Flughafen ist so klein, dass man beobachten kann, wie das Gepäck entladen wird. LAN fliegt die Insel einmal am Tag an. Sonst gibt es hier fast keinen Flugverkehr.
Ich habe kein Hostel gebucht. Am Flughafen erkundige ich mich direkt und bekomme ein Bett um 8.000,- Pesos, zirka € 12,- pro Nacht. Das Hostel liegt direkt am Meer.
Ich erkunde gleich die Hauptstadt Hanga Roa, wo die knapp 4.000 Inselbewohner grossteils leben. Zur Stärkung genehmige ich mir ein Chebiche de Rapa Nui - köstlich.
In den Geschäften werden ganz besondere Kunststücke angeboten.

Und dann sehe ich ihn! Meinen ersten MOAI!
Am Hafen sehe ich auch meine erste Meeresschildkröte.
Ich lege mich unter eine eine Palme und mache eine kleine Siesta. Meine neue Freundin kuschelt sich gleich an mich.
I lie down under a palm tree and make a little siesta. My new friend snuggles up to me immediately.

Als ich von meiner Siesta aufwache läuft mir diese Rapa Nui über den Weg.

Nördlich von Hnga Roa stosse ich gleich auf mehrere Moai.
Ich gehe wieder zurück zur Stadt. Unterwegs besichtige ich am Friedhof ein besonderes Grab.
Hier treffe ich auch auf 3 Lausbuben, die sich über meine Sachen hermachen.

Ich bin ein bisschen erschöpft von meinem ersten Tag auf Rapa Nui und gehe schlafen. Morgen werde ich versuchen, dem Geheimnis von Rapa Nui etwas näher auf die Spur zu kommen.
I'm a bit tired from my first day on Rapa Nui and go to sleep. Tomorrow I'll try to come to the mystery of Rapa Nui a little bit closer to the track.
